Education is based on the National Association of Home Builders Certified Aging in Place guidelines and the American's with Disabilities Act. The senior interior designer will tour the home and exterior (if needed) and interview the occupants to discuss any existing and future needs for the spaces. The designer will then take some pictures and provide a form to the clients with suggestions for improvements that can range from small inexpensive improvements up to more extensive renovations so the clients can make an educated decision. Please let us know if you need referral to a contractor that specializes in this type of modifications to a home. Time for these appointments can range from 2 to 4 hours in length and the time to create the report.
